    an expired domain can help if it has a clean history and relevant backlinks but it's not a shortcut i'd first see how the current site performs over the next month before deciding to migrate

    Most of the value comes from the page not the TLD if the page is indexed gets crawled regularly and isn't overloaded with outbound links it can be worthwhile regardless of the domain extension
