Maybe Im just an optimist, but I think the local game will be equally important going forward even with AI overviews; theyll just factor in local signals more and more in their ranking over time. But yeah for sure maps will stay aswell, dont see that going.

Eventually sure, but I think for the time being in more blue collar niches the map pack is still way more powerful. AI overviews serve more complicated questions, I feel like.

I think it depends a bit on what niche youre in whether its GBP or AI overviews that rules. Health, finance, those kinds of niches you could probably do well if you get the AI and not the gbp, Id bet.

Ah thank you for understanding You know the whole AI pulling all youve worked for away from under your feet is really daunting in itself, but if my SEO plans work out I think I'll end being better off for it I'lI be sure to post all about it when that happens hehe

Im on 1 bigger one and a few smaller ones, but I agree with the previous person who said they believe in building 1 big stream. I plan to have a big impressive one and ditch the annoying small jobs within 5 years
