Search for postman, it 's free and you can send requests and get responses...what do you want to use for final script? I've tried python in pycharm because i can see responses as i go.

Last year i've tested for two, maybe three weeks...a browser and a piece of software i needed to run 24/7...but the most open app was task manager Please don't get me wrong...aws is great, you can have your instance ready in minutes...the free tier was not for me.
