Very true ! It's a real shame as with only a little SEO, many local businesses can climb to the top of local rankings quickly and increase business quite easily. Yet they don't think twice about the ad every week in the local paper, untargeted and useless.

The problem with Donedeal, Adverts etc is that it is a race to the bottom. Nobody values their time and skills enough and people think a 200 euro 5 page site is the norm. Then they fucking torture you for free changes and updates after... (I didn't expect this to turn into me venting but here...

Yeah some of the websites are pretty junk, but Irish business owners are seriously backwards in seeing the value of decent online presence. Are you planning something similar, or going selling your service first?
