For added security, the control panel access is by SSL. It's a self-signed cert so that is why you are seeing the warning. This is not any extra risk.

Depends on your skill level.. for a complete graphics idiot like me, I've found the Xara line of software to be easier on my brain. I'm completely lost if I load up Illustrator :o

Nice work! Wish I had graphics talent. I'm a fan of minimalist designs/layouts so I appreciate your non-cluttered logos.

I haven't tried Namecheap's shared hosting but I'd stay away from their VPS/Dedicated. Nothing but a nightmare experience and long support ticket response times. It seems their hosting division is an add-on with not much thought behind it, along with outsourced customer service reps.

VPS nodes are so cheap these days... spend the few bucks a month and get one.

Haven't used KnownSRV for a few years but they have always been reliable and I've never experienced any hardware/network issues. Don't expect 1 minute responses to support tickets or anything though :D
