Are you copy and pasting what you are posting? If so, that has happened to me. you can still copy and paste, just backspace a letter or period to remove it then type the one letter or period back. That's what works for me. Also FB has problems when you reply and try to post a link, it wont let...

Why is it fishy? Because like me you are new here and are using an affiliate link for people to go to that site.

How is the wait time before you known if it will get submitted? I know they say 10 business days, have you found it to be less than that? I recently submitted an article a few days ago haven't heard back yet.
