I don't know if amazon is gainst paid traffic but I can't think of a reason why amazon would be against it. But to be on the safe side why don't you read through their TOS or just google it and try to find an answer. That's probably faster than waiting for an answer in this forum. ;)

Well if you want to know who the advertisers are, you should just check out some of the other ptc sites. Ppl pay you to show their ads on your site and you pay ppl to click on those ads. If you need more information just check the FAQ of those ptc sites.

You could try to buy websites which are already earning money. Try flippa or flippingenterprises (correct if i'm wrong but isn't this site run by meathead and bryanon?) but the later one has mostly more expensive sites so i'm not sure if 2000$ are enough to buy one there.
