What is the safest whitehat method in your service?

Any service that would post on the twitter automatically once an update has been made on the wordpress (like a post)? I know of twitterfeed, but wonder if there are others.

I am interested to know how you used the VPS with Tweet Attacks? Do i have to use the VPS to be safer? What if i am using an unused desktop which is always on? I see you are using a public proxies? Aren't they dangerous due to those proxies might probably be abused earlier?
