It almost seems like Google is manually holding my site from ranking currently. Since I was affected, my clicks and impressions are completely flat with only very minor variations. It's like Google has an allowance of how many times I can receive a click and impression each day.

I'm in the same exact boat. 12:00 PM EST on 7/31 my traffic noticeably tanked. Similar losses to you. I'd suggest waiting a little longer before making adjustments. Things might rebound back.

My site got hit hard the last 3 days. Google traffic is down 80%. Lost all featured snippets and completely wiped from half the keywords I was ranking for previously. Smaller Amazon affiliate site @ ~15k views p/mo.
