i would not evaluate the success of a repost based on the increased number of views only. a good repost will attract people who are interested in what you have to say nd that is much more valuable than just increassing ur viewership. all u need to do is to see what follows the repost.

what shocked me was how important the choice of topics was.it happened that even if i produced a well edited video, my performance was not good but when i touched on something that ppl needed, the reaction was totally different.the choice of an appropriate topic nd its subsequent good packkaging...

pinterest to me, is an example of a platform where being conssistent counts for much more than being fast to get results. the pin can lay around for days nd then start taking off on its own. i would allow some time to see if pinterest works for me.

imo there’s hope for new accounts. the problem is that the first posts will not necessarily say anything useful. i would keep trying out different things until i found something which kept people interessted and made them interact, instead of just getting a lot of views but no interaction.

zero impressions from 90 pins is quite rare. my first move would be to manually check a couple of pins from a different account or from an incognito browser to ensure that they are indeed publicly visible. once verified i will go through the hisstory of that account nd the pins themselves.

i believe that directories may be worth it but not in pursuit of the DR or backlink only. a relevant nd well maintained directory will help in discovering sites nd in some cases generrate referral traffic. in case it is just a massive directory where everybody either pays or exchanges links...

the hardest part for me will definitely be the initial silence. it is very easy to doubt yourself when u have spent so many hours creating ur video and hardly anyone is watching it. i believe that most people stop even before learniing what their viewers want.

well that happens quite often. not all profile views will result in leads or contacts. i would recommend being precise in the headline about urself section with regards to what u are really offering nd posting interessting things on a regular basis.

this is what i have observed too. however i do not think that this should be considered to be an immediate ranking signal for a website. this is bcz a good brand would automatically get more natural linking, mentions nd clicks which would indirectly help in rankking.
