Web APIs are great but they won't get you anywhere close to the results OP was referencing. I built a pretty stellar bot that's been doing well but no where near as good as the non-API bots such as the one built by xxf8xx. If anyone's selling one similar to that, let me know.

Yes, they changed the rules again the other day. Accounts cannot follow more than 7500 max, except if you have an account and were following more than 7500 before they made the change. They also added new measures to cut down on comment spam.
