You're right, most coins are created to enrich the 'developers'. Bitcoin will always been around in some shape or form but some real contenders are SuperNET, CounterParty, Ripple, Ethereum etc

This is a huge scam, do some research. It is a clone of SuperNET without the good coins (it uses NHZ instead of NXT) and all of the money goes to the devs (which were found to be shady pumpers).
