there are a few ways, without a website. IM should probably be interesting if you are looking for conversions, yes. Youtube is not the only way. don't limit your search to that. a lot to learn here.............

"Track me not" is a plug in that can be used with firefox. Been using it for some time. It gets regular updates as firefox updates.

I can think of a couple places this might work-----and yea there is some junk, but I have seen some good input as well.
