indian traffic doesn't convert. i have been trying to promote a hamburger franchise for MONTHS now and nothing. not a single conversion.

you do not need to do all of that stuff to get ranked, even for competitive keywords. i don't know why these posts keep popping up. it really isn't very difficult to do.
