Youtube is sending fake and botted users and views to the shorts. The subs drop almost entirely after a couple of days. I've personally stopped producing shorts at the moment.

It's also pretty depressing because some of the engaging viewers on my account actually took note of the massive drop in channel and pointed it out as well. I suspect they now are probably doubting the legitimacy of my channel.
