most of the link issues arise becuz of trend and not the link themselves. I have seen it work better where there are less link but these link really count with great content and proper links within the website itself.

Even if the caption is poor it would not affect your reach becuz what matters most is retention, engagement nd sharing. however, an appropriate caption could be used to give your posts more value.
