I've always used Godaddy and never had a single issue with them. But I use coupon codes that I've collected to save money. If you're registering dot coms, try RRTV7 to get them for $7.49. Plus you can use the code for renewals or transfers as well. Just my .02.

You can check wififreespot.com for a list of places with free wifi too. Sorry the link doesn't work, I'm not up to enough posts! :-)
