Update on this—I still get intermittent shadowbans on videos but it's about 33%–55% so I'm just rolling with it. If anyone reading this thread later has any ideas on what's still going wrong, I'm all ears.

Sample size of ~20 videos or so, 10 of each upload method—really does seem to be a consistent pattern. I'm too new, doesn't seem like I can send PMs yet
