yes this worked for me. but I have never really took tiktok videos and reposted them. but if you take them from youtube shorts and play around abit with zoom its no problem. and all the videos I edited myself. I can reupload them basically as often as I want. Had the same video also go viral...

im doing something similiar, but I thought I can just upload regular videos in the shorts channel itself. do you think that will be a problem? otherwhise how do you promote the other channel? just as text in the video or in the comments? great journey so far keep it going

other people in the tiktok section here said. you gotta buy an tiktok account that has been created in the us. then just turn on your phone, switch on vpn connected with an usa server and you should see a usa for you page and then your videos will target usa audience too. havent tried it myself...
