Do you think readers might assume the counter is fake? These “X people are viewing this” counters are pretty common on sales funnels, so I wonder whether displaying a very specific number like “23 carnivores reading this” creates social proof or just makes people skeptical.

How do you actually decide when the extra volume from a wider lookalike is worth the drop in close rate? Do you use a specific threshold, or is it more of a judgment call based on CAC/revenue?

Because they feels like real people sharing their experiences rather than companies trying to sell something.
