Maybe if you do some mini jobs regarding the jobs you are interested in, maybe you can gather some pointers on how this stuff really works. Since you will be able to directly be in touch with someone who is representing a firm. Just my 2 cents :) Enjoy your stay here.

Best way is to follow some posts on the forums, see what kind of offers are people asking for, there are many sections to look at, pick the ones that interest you the most.
