How can I get GMB (Google My Business Account) verified in central New York without postcard verification? Is there a chance for such a location and in the future could google request to re-verify it with the postcard?

100% do not share your passport data and drivers license , that is why upwork has its own verification system :)

That is why I went to the head office in Shanghai - there they were able to do it with a tourist visa. Only thing is I no longer needed it so it is closed now - probably a mistake given the current difficulties to try and open again :(

There is a way to open a chinese bank account. In Shanghai HSBC central office they were willing to open it for me if I deposited 10K USD with them :)

have experienced this in person when I could not even buy mcdonalds with visa or mastercard. That specific branch also didnt take cash. Some local guy helped me out and paid with wechat and i gave him cash. Completely closed off financial system :)
