Just to add here in the UK minimum wage in 2017 is 5.60 pounds for 18-20 year olds, kitchen porters at the kitchen I work at earn about 10 quid an hour with tips included, more on busy nights. seems like an easy choice, no?

changing niche is a surefire way too absolutely kill an account, stick with the niche that it is and monetise that.

I used to work at an IT shop and we sold pre-build setups. we got parts at wholesale prices and OS for basiclly nothing and we made alright profit per pc sold but there is a lot of competition out there that can provide warranties (this is a BIG selling point for pre-builds) for free on all pcs...
