Social bookmark your post and if possibly create some authority backlinks to it right after posting - just don't overdo it. But of course it's tough to do that for every new post you publish unless you can find some software out there to automate it for you.

Voted #4. #1 is okay but the font makes it look like a news site. #2 is a little too "clean" for a tech blog #3 is too colorful unless you talk gadget reviews #4 is clean silver-ish and the little metallic feel that should suit a tech blog just fine My 2 cents. :D
