It can vary from provider to provider. It usually tells in the sales pitch :~)

The site you get traffic from is irrelevant. It's the quality of the traffic (how targetted it is to your niche) that is the key. Any website that allows you to pull quality traffic to your optin form is good.

If you're too lazy to backlink manually and you have a bit of spare cash why not just use backlinking services provided in the BST section? That's what I'd recommend, usually get a good ROI depending on your niche/competition.

I've always gone private and never had any problems, worth the extra money imo. :~)

It's really hard to rank a duplicate video on YouTube and in my experience not worth the time and money. At the very least add an intro or outro to make the video look unique to YouTube. Although I would always recommend creating unique, VALUABLE content. It's always worked the best for me. :-)
