I like your opinion but my own is slightly different. I think a halved reward will reduce sell pressure from miners impacting BTC price if demand stays the same. The "people waiting to sell" part is in my opinion not much different from other markets but I agree that its worrying since a lot...

Don't invest in crypto if you have a weak understanding of the fundamentals and don't believe in the economical core concept. Otherwise you will get shaken out if it dumps instead of adding to your positions at key moments.

My thoughts on the matter is the following: -CW was probably around the bitcoin industry/community in the early stages of its creation(first few years) -He was maybe part of the team that worked on btc in its early stages -He has a lot of knowledge about blockchain and crypto -He is insane...

Im long on ETH and BTC, however I am keeping my eye on chainlink (had a very good run in 2019) but since I don't know enough about the tech I did not touch it. :)

Thank you very much for this insight in your thought process, honestly my approach to investing is similar(mostly trend analysis, simple S&D etc) but never used Japanese candlesticks (If you mean heikin ashi or something other than the ordinary candlesticks... then i use them :) ). I will check...

Maybe not market makers but they create significant sell pressure every day to cover their operating expenses. IMHO lower mining reward = higher BTC price 100% but the exact strength of this impact is to be determined.

Thank you for the info, could you share more? I was always interested in trading but since my strategies did not work out I stuck with HODLing mostly :) Could you tell more about your trading strategy?
