Why? Those never work. The servers know they are proxies and block them. Certain scripts and things don't always load either.

Proxies don't give you viruses... Proxies do however log any information you type in. So it will log any user names and passwords. If it's a legit proxy site it's not a big deal, if it's some random proxy I would not do that. Personally I don't log onto anything if using a proxy. A VPN...
