Here are some tips I have been playing around with this a little bit. If you pick the right voice and use Speech Synthesis Markup Language (SSML) or Voice Transformation SMML, you can control the voice with loudness, pauses and other things. My suggestion to add a pause is to modify the MP3 file with Audicity. Audicity is free and there are lots of YouTube videos on how it works.- danfre
