That's a good Idea, I could build in a functionality to measure the average increase of a single candle and then trigger a buy/sell action if the current candle is substantially higher than the historical data. I will post my updates and findings on here, thanks!

That's a valid point. Though in my testing anything between 1 and 2% wasn't really indicative of a movement in a certain direction.
