The thing is, that's not the case: the accounts weren't sharing the same IPs, and we split working hours by account.

Yeah I think the first few upvotes/comments help a lot, especially in bigger subs. But Reddit can be pretty random too, I've had posts sit there doing nothing and then suddenly pick up hours later.

Yeah definitely. Reddit users can smell promotion from a mile away. Sometimes even a normal helpful post gets called an ad just because you mention a product.

I can already imagine brands paying way more attention to what people are saying about them on Reddit if this becomes widely available.

Try opening your profile from another account or while logged out. Your account might actually be suspended or flagged without you realizing it, which could explain why it won't let you create the subreddit.

Try starting with the result instead of the setup. Show the interesting part first, then explain how you got there. Made a noticeable difference for my Reels.

Start with maybe 10-20 users and test your process for a month. No point scaling to 200 if the accounts aren’t lasting.

For discovery, definitely less important. But for Stories and actually building a returning audience, followers still matter a lot.
