I will say from experience that running a gig site is not easy in any shape or form and all of the back end crap that goes into it is a huge pain in the ass. Having said that Fiverr is more than profitable enough to be able to afford to fix issues as primitive as these and for their sake I hope...

AA comments/trackbacks aren't really that powerful when used on a money site from what I've seen. On the other hand they tend to get spidered quite frequently (before they get spammed to hell), so they work quite well for getting tiers indexed and that's the main way I use comments/trackbacks...

301's seem to be a toss up in my experience. And for some reason they tend to work best when you 301 to an aged domain. Makes no sense to me but I'm just telling you what I've observed after having done close to 80 of these this year due to the original site getting penalized.

Aged domains over EMD's ftw. Plus you can ramp up the link velocity on aged domains more so than without them as well.
