You can earn via ads. All you have to do is, get a decent amount of traffic, prefered targeted. Pick a niche, research keywords, write a few articles, place ads (adsense, CPA, etc.).

Welcome to BHW. I'd suggest you to use any cam affiliate program for your forum. Just check out, who has the best offers and start placing them ads on your forum. Use search option to find if the program is legit and if it's paying. You may also see some of the reviews.
