The first + last name I see on new PayPal account doesn't come up when I search online. I did ask Koddos why subscription was cancelled, they just said I need to setup new one because of changes at PayPal. New paypal button is not a subscription thou, by PayPal you can now only do one-time...

Maybe, but we don't know that yet. Maybe Koddos was "lucky" to go down for other reasons while the PHP vulnerability is being exploited. But the fact that servers from 3-4 ISPs were going offline all in same day many days ago was 100% related tot he PHP vulnerability. They were eider patching...

Turns out I was right, "yeeey" , critical vulnerability (rated 9.2 out of 10) was just anounced today in PHP, affecting ALL versions, remote code execution. This is HUGE!

It was always a business name and now it is a person first+last name. And around a month ago they stopped the subscription for the server and now only accepts manual monthly payments. Who does that? It is clearly not a good business practice (manual payments vs subscriptions).

Anyone else noticed that PayPal payments to Koddos now go to someone else? Am I the only one that sees red flags?

Maybe LE took out the drive looking for data (my theory for the downtime) and they messed up your raid array? Mine was down for 10 days and reason was a fake "phishing" complaint being received, to which I replied in a few hours, server was still down ~10 days. I didn't get the "power issue"...

Something is off ... in last 2 days I got notifications about "maintenance" / downtime needed of my server(s) on 3-4 different providers. One mentioned a kernel security update is needed. These are is in UK, NL, Germany. All at once is a strange pattern. Anyone else getting these...

Also ... check the Koddos web interface, server might be ON but might need a manual power on from web interface.

Koddos just replied to my ticket after more than 10 days, saying they activated the server. They did not, it is still offline. They are just making fun of paying customers at this point.

Any status page or announcement directly from Equinix ? Them not announcing such major issue doesn't sound right. I still think there was a raid of the servers. After my server was instantly taken offline falsely claiming "phishing report" ... 10 days no reply from them, now just hours after I...

This seems like a raid, some servers getting back online indicates they are looking for something trough the servers, and once they can confirm they are not what they are looking for, they put that back online. I think such a serious "power issue" would be anounced at Equinix AM4 main website...

I remember reading years ago that sometimes linking to high rank external content helps. Maybe is something like "hey this site knows what is doing because it also mentioned this high rank content" ‍♂️

With paid "plus" plan you get "4.0" too. And Dall-E to generate images, which looks nice.
