Not exaclty sure what your saying but if you want to be at the top search results for "every song lyrics" your going to need a fairly decent authority site I would assume. So lots of backlinks, updated frequently, dominating youtube with lyric videos would probably help. Not sure I would even...

I use exact for my keywords but when link building I take the broad results into accounts as possible other keywords. So instead of just link building with my exact keywords I'll take the broad terms into consideration. Thats really the only time I pay attention to it
