No apocalypse, just normal adjustments and/or reactions to China's recent moves against ICOs.

True predictions always seem like magic. A lot of it is straight luck, but if it were only luck and not at least "semi-educated guesses", there wouldn't be as many successes at "predictions" as there are.

I'm pretty new to CC as a whole, too. I've found that you have to dig through a bunch of information to make a solid decision.

It takes a ton of research to do "due diligence" to something as important as buying into a particular coin. A solid DEV team is definitely a plus. An actual product is, too.

Government....looking for a solution to a non-existent problem....like, well, always.:rolleyes:

I look back and wish I hadn't scoffed at the idea of Bitcoin (or any cryptocurrency for that matter) back in the day. :(

I remember when I first heard of BTC, and laughed. I kick myself now when I think about how I could have invested in it way, way back when it first came out, and could have cashed out with TONS of profit recently. :-(

If a coin has a good, honest DEV team, and they are transparent in their overall outlook to their work, I think it'll do well. Any coins out there that meet this general description?

You have to do your homework on ANY coin you're even thinking of investing in. There are a lot of coins that won't give much reward, when it's all said and done.

It all depends on the coin, and whether it's "mining" or "staking". A staked coin will be better to run in the background.
