Oh I see... Well I typically use a service to free up my time to work on other things - research, site content, copy, etc... If you're getting the desired result from the service you use, then there's probably no need for you to duplicate their efforts, in which case you can focus your own...

I think there is a service called backlinks genie. search for that. But back to the op, not really sure why you're asking the question. Do you really need someone else to make the decision for you?? Maybe I just don't understand the question properly?

Yes, it's worth it. For your second need it's not going to be great, but that's just bookmarking in general. They're fairly 'weak' as far as backlinks are concerned, but it's great for getting web pages noticed and indexed. If you're trying to get less quality pages indexed it will take a lot...

Hey Walker, Yes I did, and I tried that and got the errors I mentioned. 'username does not exist' was the most common (by quite a large majoirty) even though the registration phase reported them as successfully registered to and all emails were confirmed.

My success rate has really taken a tumble... 400 profiles out of 1800 forums just now. Maybe I got too used to a high success rate, but I went to double check the failures and the main reason by far seems to be 'username does not exist'. Did something go wrong during the registration phase...

Walker, I was just running through registration of 7000 odd forums and the software crashed about half way through. I've got a tonne of emails but no forums are populated with user id or passwords. Is there any way to retrieve this information? I know captcha credits aren't expensive, but it's...

The recommended max it can be run at is 12posts/day and 5 links/post, per site (self-hosted or otherwise.) And per hosting account, they recommend max 5 installs. No matter how many sites you use, those 5 links that go out with each post will be for the same profile link...so no matter how many...

No reason other than I thought they'd be more realiable...haven't tested otherwise but seems to work ok. Although, as walker said, a blacklisted domain wouldn't be much fun...wouldn't be a big deal though! I guess using private email addresses would be more necessary for articles directories...

Well my most recent run was about my 5th run in total, so I've slowly been building up a good working list of forums I know are compatible with the software. Before my last run, I done a smaller submission using only forums I've already successfully submitted to in the past. About 1900 forums...

1100 links and probably about 95% active. Of the 5% not active it's usually because you have to be signed in to the forum or the forum is down/unreachable at that particular moment. (i use SB to check for live links) From that list of just under 4k, I get over 3000 successfully registered...

You can just right-click in the sites list area and choose (i can't remember exactly): Uncheck all sites with login That will leave all sites not regiestered (whether failed or not yet tried) for you to repeat the process.
