If I have the patience, then yes, I try to publish some AI images relevant to the account, without any link. I just upload the image. This will get a lot of impressions if the images are good and on-topic. But obviously, this is a lot of work. It's definitely a good thing to do if you have time!

5 pins per day for the first 1-2 months. Then increase to 10 pins per day for months 3-6. Then, when the site has 200+ articles, you can do 15 per day. My biggest site (1000+ articles) does around 20 pins per day. I agree with others: be careful about spamming the same URL too many times...

I used Make for a while to create content using the OpenAI api then I switched to n8n because it's cheaper. But if you're a beginner, Make is fantastic for this! There are tons of youtube tutorials on how to use it.

I wish Ideogram 2 was cheaper. I'm using V1 Turbo on my new Pinterest sites and it's decent. But I can't justify .08 an image on a new blog for the upgrade...
