I second Ahrefs - using it for searching for backlink opportunities and ideas.

Organic traffic is a big deal, but I feel that referral and social traffic channel are slightly (just slightly) more under control. That's why Facebook ads, guest posting and hanging out on Reddit are my top three recommendations.
