Bigger point though: wallet affiliate programs pay once per hardware sale. Exchange programs pay on volume, month after month. For a comparison content piece, mixing both makes sense for coverage, but don't expect the wallet side to carry the revenue.
IM Dude is right for most verticals, wrong for crypto. In SEA and LATAM people use exchanges to move money and hedge local currency, not speculate. That's a real use case, and Gate/MEXC know it, their affiliate programs pay out on those GEOs for a reason.

The filter-dodging stuff (rotation, cloaked prelanders, RedTrack) works until it doesn't. I learned that the expensive way: spent a year leaning on a single distribution channel, it got pulled out from under me overnight, and everything built on top went with it.
