I have to agree with pxoxrxn, it is a fairly dead market. That doesn't mean though that you can't be the one to breath new life into the market though.

Soundalike you have a content issue... Go through and get rid of any crappy content, keep the good stuff and only add content that is appealing to your audience

I have always found that building one authority site is always more profitable than a bunch of small niche websites, especially if those niche websites are all about one thing. Plus you will have more options to branch out if you go with an authority site.

I am not 100% sure what you are asking, but it looks like you could just buy a private proxy and use that.
