Get a lot of people to click your link for something they want. I've heard of people making sites and uploading files for new songs or unreleased albums that a lot of people are talking about. People will go through a lot.

Is it possible to impersonate a youtube channel anymore? Whenever I try to copy a name it says its restricted. It even says it when I change a letter or two around.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think you might be ghosted. In other words, YouTube might have flagged your account for spam. This way the spammer will think their account is fine and keep posting but no one can see it. Hope that helped.
