What % of the revenue do these CMS take from you generally? Would you say it's worth it to go with a CMS if your content is not risky or it's only worth it if you're doing risky content that's likely to get demonetized?

Not really. If they are negative comments, that often makes the new viewers think of you/the video negatively and click away. That loss in trust and probably watch time will hurt you much more than deleting comments.
