Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I just cant work out whether I am doing something naughty or now... I have a Amazon affiliate links which are quiet long and are obvious to google that they are affiliate links. I also dont like that the user can quiet easily see that it is a long link...

I would first establish how much involvement you want in it. If a lot and you want to make it your job then maybe a online business based on a website. Otherwise I would go down the stock market option, but for that you need to know what your doing...

If it is a long term site and you dont want to risk being de-indexed you need to be careful. Cloaking is against just about all TOS from anyone.

no hyphen is best. I read a review a few months ago where they tested a domain name with and without hyphen. Both had similar spun content. The conclusion was that they found that google did not liked hyphens

Have a look around in the market place. Make sure you pick someone who has some good experience and is a long term member here. Dont go with someone who only has a few post - like me

depends on what page you have. When you look at the robots.txt, have a look for any disallow statements and remove them unless you know they should be there. cant post a link or even what to google :s Disallow should only be for directories you dont want google to index such as admin, shopping...

Social signals wont benefit in terms of getting more traffic, but they are good to make people believe your page is popular though.
