This isn't uncommon. I remember the "Christmas Casualty" threads on A4U years ago, which merchants would shut up shop after the holidays without paying out etc etc... If the merchant is in your country, you could try taking them to small claims court, that's what we would do in the UK anyway...

Nice guide, the main improvement over standard hosting is the CDN though. I've owned sites that became uber fast simply because by using Max CDN. Don't forget the hosting either, switching from shared to your own plan is a huge gain for little technical work too.

Was thinking this myself, Fiverr isn't exactly the place for "quality backlinks". OP, you're gonna have to suck this up and realize that the only way to get backlinks that never get deleted, is to have 100% control over everything; meaning a private PBN or owning your own web 2.0's.

Nah, the most important thing with a PBN is security and being able to pass a manual review. Spun content is an easy way to make a totally private PBN no more secure than buying links off a public BST.

You're doing the right things, it's also worth taking a look at disavowing links too. I've had success with domains that were heavily spammed and now ranking in the top 5 easily. Once all the bad links have been disavowed / deleted / diluted, you will eventually bounce back. It takes time...
