Hello and thanks for looking at my profile.

Database Developer, Software Developer, Data Integration Developer, Application Support, Excel Automation Developer, and Data Analyst are the roles that I have the most experience for.

You will want to view a short video demonstration of some of my skills here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFHxVSKU8oY

It is quite an interesting video.

In the video, I use horse racing as a way to present my problem solving capabilities.

The video shows robot software (that I wrote) that automatically performs the following tasks:
1.) visit various sites on the internet;
2.) read in data from these sites;
3.) make judgements based on this data, and then;
4.) perform appropriate online actions based on the outcome of these judgements

My skills are not only limited to what you see in the video - I am able to solve many sorts of different problems using computer technology.

I also have a good amount of Compliance experience gotten from most recent job position.

I am an American citizen - born and raised in the U.S. - and am looking for a telecommuting position (preferably full-time) that would allow me to work remotely from home. I currently live in Taiwan. Note that most of my entire 18 year work history has been in New York City. I only moved to Taiwan at the end of 2012.

Depending where you are, there may be a time difference (e.g. if you are in the U.S., then my night time is your day time). If so, this would be perfect if you are looking to fill a graveyard shift. My schedule is flexible though and I would also be available for scheduled meetings during your working hours. If my situation is not ideal for a full-time position, I would also be interested in any part-time work you may have.

In terms of job preference, I would be most interested in a position that involves a good amount of SQL Server development work (writing stored procedures, data analysis, generating reports, etc.). Next, would be Application Support (maintaining existing applications and improving upon existing applications). Next, would be internal software development (software development for the company’s own internal use). Next, would be data integration developer (maintaining and creating process to extract/transform/load data into databases). But, I am also open to other positions as well.

I can understand if you are wary about hiring a remote worker who is located outside of your country, but you may want to consider me. I have extensive experience working remotely and have always been able to give my employer and clients my best performance regardless of where I am located - with little or no supervision. In fact, I worked remotely for 2.5 years out of a total of 6 years at my last job. Such an arrangement can work seamlessly. I welcome any questions you may have.

In regards to training, I want to let you know that I would be willing to train via remote connectivity software (e.g. Remote Desktop, TeamViewer, VPN, LogMeIn, etc.) and telephone/Skype messenger for a few hours each day - during your daytime business hours (my night time) - for the first several days - if that is what it would take to get me up to speed with your business.

I work hard and smart and always try my best to help grow the business - as well as helping out with selling to clients, as needed. Think about it.

You can leave a message for me or send me an email at [email protected] for more details.
