Thanks for sharing your observations. It's actually great to know that someone has witnessed new / low DR sites on Discover - I just can't seem to catch them lol
This new project (domain) is a replacement to 2 older ones that had massive Discover traffic for a while before being kicked out and...
Thanks for your reply and sharing your experience. I feel like I am the only one who never gets to notice a new domain / low DR on Discover  But! It's good to hear that it is indeed possible.
Started this new domain at the beginning of the year and focusing on both types of content -...
Thanks for sharing your experience. This sounds interesting and hopeful. Do you happen to remember after implementing the changes - how long did it take before you saw new articles appearing again on Discover and did you manage to keep the traffic stable since then?
I find that nowadays blogging can be quite slow to show results and if one is just starting - one might face more walls than they are prepared to. So this needs to be taken into consideration.
AI helps generate content faster but this also has caused an oversaturated market situation. Which...

Thanks for your reply :) I'm familiar with the basics but was wondering about some first-hand-experience data of what might be working nowadays for some when starting a fresh domain and when things might start kicking.
Quite frankly - compared to say, 2 years ago - blogging is very slow nowadays. AI helps with faster content generation but this way, the market also becomes oversaturated by the minute. Competition is over the roof. It is tough to get in and if you are starting with 0 experience - you might find...

Considering domains started after the dreadful 2024 update, how 'new' was your domain before it got shown on Discover and was the traffic continous or a one-off thing? DR?
Also...
I have noticed similiar pattern on one website and in my case - the posts that got hit had rather thin content without sources or any citations. So my 2 cents about it would be - if your posts are important and beneficial to the main base of your website - update them and request re-indexing. If...
