This is bad advice. The best 2 marketers on POF recommend always using landing pages because you need a gimmick/hook to get the click (a high ctr), and you need to explain the gimmick before you send them to the offer.

By all means, keep split testing to find your best performing creatives. But once you?ve established the best performer, never leave it as the only active ad in a campaign. It'll be over-exposed in a matter of hours. Instead use 2-4 ads (more in the 110x80 spots), including your best performer...

If I'm correct, adcenter and adwords don't allow direct linking right? What is your strategy to finding traffic sources and offers that allow direct linking?
