Yup. Just to add to Chris' post, the more people 'like' a page, the more visitors it will get/have received. Not only will more visitors help drive the results, but will add more likelihood that they may link to the website through other blogs/forums etc etc.

Will be interesting to see what happens to your rankings for duplicate content that links to the original source. We all hear that linking back to the original content should show Google that you are referencing it, but I'd be keen to see what actual impact this has.
