For one thing, Ahrefs has tools to research sites that a competitor has links on. Also, you can see what keywords were used to build those links.

Can you find another supplier in another country or city? If it's a well known product or in demand, there has to be more than one distributor or supplier. Negotiate with them if they only deal with vendors that buy large orders from them.
