LOL... I didn't post a year's worth of links in one day. I meant that I posted one or two quality tweets per day over a year (roughly). I also have 5,000 followers, had massive retweets along the way, but no ranking movement caused by this. Maybe I need far more than 5,000 followers, although...

I honestly think that Twitter is worthless for SEO. I've used it to post a year's worth of links to fresh content and saw zero ranking movement caused by it. It is a great way to get fresh content indexed quickly but that was the only result I saw.

0_inspiration, are you actually seeing some ranking movement caused by doing this? I've tried this strategy and it had no effect on my search rankings at all. Hundreds of my manually typed comments were accepted across a month or so. I gave up on it after that.

I read that too that AdSense is a factor, but the couple of sites that I have without AdSense have lost the exact same volume of traffic. It's been a nice even -35% traffic loss across the board. I can tell that this Panda 2 riddle will be a tough one to crack.
